Giving Back in the Spirit of MLK: The PMC

In honor of Martin Luther King Day we have decided to write about the Pan-Mass Challenge, an organization that is near and dear to some of the members of the AquaHealth team.

The Pan Mass Challenge is an “annual bike-a-thon” in New England that supports the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in its fight against cancer. The Pan-Mass Challenge also happens to be the largest athletic event fundraiser in the entire United States, and has raised an amazing $414 million dollars for cancer research since its founding.

Two members of the AquaHealth team are loyal supporters of the Pan-Mass Challenge. Michelle Tellier has ridden in the PMC for the last two years, while I will be volunteering again this year as a member of the social media team.

For more information about the largest bike ride against cancer, check out the Pan-Mass Challenge website.
